Family Travel Gear I Recommend
Shop Familee Travel Favorites
Travel gear for kids can feel overwhelming fast.
There are so many products out there, and not all of them are actually helpful or worth the luggage space once you’re juggling airport security, long flights, rental cars, tiny hotel rooms, tired kids, snacks, diapers, and everyone’s favorite stuffed animal that absolutely cannot be lost.
I created this page to gather my favorite family travel gear in one place, organized by age and travel need.
These lists include a mix of products we’ve personally used and other thoughtfully chosen recommendations based on research, product comparisons, and conversations with other traveling families.
I’m Jessica, founder of Familee Travel and a mom of 3. We’ve traveled with our kids since they were babies, including international trips, long-haul flights, cruises, city adventures, and plenty of family travel days that required a whole lot of preparation.
My goal is simple: recommend practical gear that helps family travel feel more organized, comfortable, and doable.
Some of these products may be a perfect fit for your family. Others may simply help you compare options and figure out what makes the most sense for your trip, your child’s age, and your travel style.

A Quick Note Before You Shop
Every family travels differently.
What works seamlessly for one baby, toddler, preschooler, or big kid may not be the perfect fit for another. Ages, personalities, sensory needs, trip length, destination, weather, luggage limits, and your own parenting style all matter.
I still believe less is more when traveling with kids. The right gear can absolutely earn its place in your bag, but traveling lighter usually makes everything easier, and you do not need all the things to take a great family trip.
Use these lists as a starting point, not a rulebook.
I hope they help you feel a little more prepared, a little less scattered, and a lot more ready to take the trip.
