Who else was excited to say 'see ya' 👋🏽 to 2 Who else was excited to say 'see ya' 👋🏽 to 2020??

I'm not sure if anyone was immune to the troubles of 2020, it affected everyone in some way big or small. There were disappointments, grief, and countless challenges.

It was not all bad, but it's good to say hello to a new year 🎉🥂. There's no magic switch, or time machine, of course. 🦠 and other challenges are still our reality.

But I'm excited and hopeful for a better 2021. What are you hopeful for, or excited about in this new year?

We hope everyone enjoyed a safe and happy holiday season!!

CRUISE time 🚢 ! Before our RTW trip plans came CRUISE time 🚢 ! Before our RTW trip plans came together we had a BIG #familycruise already planned.

Big as in 18 family members, some from both my family and Steve’s family. While cruises aren’t my favorite way to travel, sometimes they’re a great option. When bringing together and organizing so many different people with different ages, interests, and schedules, a cruise was an easy way to do this.

It was great fun meeting so many family members in Italy, and exploring some of the Mediterranean all together! You’ll see some extra faces in my stories from the cruise destinations.

Do you ever take trips with extended family? Any good destination recommendations for a trip like this? We’ve been trying to dream up when and where we’ll do another big family trip. You know...when travel returns at some point......

BURANO 🌈 - #burano is an island in the Venetian BURANO 🌈 - #burano is an island in the Venetian lagoon that is about a 45 minute vaporetto ride from San Marco.

It’s like a brighter and smaller version of traditional Venice. It’s still full of canals and little boats, but the buildings are much smaller and only about 2,400 residents call it home. The colors are a treat and what attracts tourists to visit. While it may look like a random smattering of colors, it is planned, and homeowners have to have their color choices approved.
